1. Acceptance of these terms
By browsing this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site or place an order. These terms apply in addition to any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law, which we do not exclude.
2. Who we are
TacticalGearHub is an independent retailer of tactical gear, knives, outdoor equipment and accessories. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by, or endorsed by any firearms manufacturer, knife maker or brand whose products we carry.
Brand names, model names, product codes and trademarks referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners. They are used solely to identify the goods we sell and the equipment they are compatible with. Their use does not imply any connection between TacticalGearHub and the trademark owner.
3. Age and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. Some items in our catalog — automatic knives, body armor, ballistic helmets, pepper spray and certain optic accessories — are subject to age limits or possession restrictions in some states and municipalities. By ordering these items you confirm that you are legally permitted to purchase and possess them at the delivery address.
We do not sell firearms, ammunition, ammunition components, suppressors or any item regulated as a firearm under federal law. Orders that appear to circumvent a state restriction will be cancelled and refunded.
4. Restricted items and buyer responsibility
Knife laws, armor laws and pepper spray laws vary by state, county and city, and they change. It is your responsibility to know the rules that apply where you live and where you will carry or store the item. We describe products as they are sold, not as they are legal in your jurisdiction.
We may refuse or cancel an order for a restricted item where we believe delivery would be unlawful, and we may request age or eligibility confirmation before dispatch.
5. Use of this site
You may use this site for lawful, personal or business purchasing purposes. You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or republish site content for commercial use without written permission;
- attempt to interfere with the operation, security or availability of the site;
- place orders using false contact details or a payment method you are not authorised to use.
6. Product information
We work from manufacturer specification sheets and supplier data when listing dimensions, materials and compatibility. That information is provided as a guide, not as a guarantee. A holster moulded for one pistol and weapon light combination will not necessarily accept another of similar size, and fabric colours can vary between production runs.
Photographs are representative. If an item you receive does not match its description, contact us and we will resolve it.
7. Pricing and availability
All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable sales tax, which is calculated at checkout where required.
Prices and availability can change without notice. If an item is mispriced, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full rather than supply the item at the incorrect price. We will contact you before doing so. Occasional typographical errors in price or description do not constitute a binding offer.
8. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch. Until then we may decline or cancel an order — for example if the item is out of stock, if we cannot verify payment, if we suspect fraud, or if the delivery address is subject to a restriction on the item. If we cancel, any amount already charged is refunded in full.
9. Payment
Payment is taken at the time of order. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers. If a payment is declined or later reversed, we may suspend or cancel the associated order.
10. Shipping, returns and refunds
Delivery times, return conditions and the refund process are set out on our Returns & Shipping page, which forms part of these terms. The standard return window is 30 days from delivery for eligible items.
Knives that have been sharpened, carried or used to cut, body armor and ballistic helmets with a broken factory seal, and opened food, water treatment or first aid items are not returnable.
11. Warranty and limitation of liability
Products are supplied with the manufacturer warranty where one is offered, passed through to you as-is. We do not add a separate warranty of our own.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for the item concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Safe use and your responsibility
Tactical and outdoor equipment can cause injury if it is misused, modified or fitted incorrectly. You are responsible for inspecting gear before each use, for following the manufacturer's instructions, and for using the item only for its intended purpose.
Body armor and helmets are sold as manufactured and are not certified by us for any specific threat level beyond what the manufacturer states. No armor provides unlimited protection. We are not responsible for injury resulting from modification, from wear beyond the manufacturer's service life, or from use outside the manufacturer's stated rating.
Knives, multi-tools and self-defence items must be used lawfully. You are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
13. Intellectual property
The layout, text and original photography on this site belong to TacticalGearHub and may not be reproduced commercially without permission. Third-party trademarks remain the property of their owners and are used descriptively to identify the goods we sell.
14. Third-party links
Where we link to external sites — for example a manufacturer's size chart or care guide — we do not control that content and are not responsible for it.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which TacticalGearHub is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protection available to you in your own jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current version was published.
