The Fenix ARE-X1 is a single-bay, or 1-channel, charger that can charge two different size rechargeable lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries, the 18650 and 26650. This charger also takes Tenergy batteries of the same sizes. The ARE-X1 has a charge indicator with a single LED light that tells you if the battery has any power in it at all; or if the battery is fully charged; or if the battery has drained down to a critical level. The Fenix ARE-X1 monitors its own charge rate digitally, which prolongs your battery’s life. This charger has several features that block potential damage to your battery: overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, short circuit protection and reverse polarity protection. The ARE-X1 is compatible with both micro-USB cables and regular USB cables; a regular USB cable is included. Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are not included.
