Use this Explore Scientific 80mm Carbon Fiber Air-Spaced Triplet ED APO Refractor as a standalone telescope to survey the stars or mount it to a larger one to separate the guiding and image duties for easier navigation. The air-space triplet design of these Explore Scientific Telescopes practically eliminates chromatic aberrations for accurate views. For brilliant, clear images, the Explore Scientific FCD1 Series 80mm Refractor uses a combination of HOYA extra-low dispersion glass and proprietary EMD enhanced multi-layer coatings on all optical surfaces. Carbon fiber construction makes this device lightweight so that you can discover what lies in the heavens above without arm fatigue. Go with the Explore Scientific ED APO Telescope for a quality optic that’s absolutely out of this world.
