The Cold Steel Butterfly Swords 88BF is a great-looking sword with a high-quality steel blade that will look amazing with your already gigantic collection This Sword from Cold Steel is made with 15 in blades and a hardwood handle covered in braided cord. The overall length Is 20 1/4 in. Comes with a sheath.
Still amazingly popular with Martial Artists and collectors alike, these iconic Chinese Butterfly Swords are carried in pairs that are cleverly nested together so they appear to be one sword in the sheath. But when they are drawn, they can be separated and wielded in both hands with lightning speed! Our interpretation of these classical blades is that they are 15″ long and 2-5/8″ wide. Their pronounced D-shaped guards have a long forward quillon for deflecting and trapping opposing weapons. The Butterfly’s handsome hardwood handles are covered with braided silk cords to provide a secure and comfortable grip. The perfect gift for Chinese Martial Arts practitioners, and a fine addition to any blade-lovers collection!
