The Practical Scramasax has been produced in response to many requests from Viking re-enactors. Its 12-1/2in blade, with a rounded edge and 1/16in wide edge, make it an ideal secondary weapon. A horizontal-carry scabbard is provided. Made by Hanwei.
Blade steel and lock type decide how the knife behaves day to day: softer stainless sharpens fast and needs frequent touch-ups, while high-vanadium grades hold an edge far longer but want diamond stones. Check the blade length against your state and local carry rules before ordering.
Sold under the Cas Hanwei name. The specification block above is published for this listing; check the dimensions against the item you are replacing before ordering.
Handed to the carrier within one to two business days, tracking included. Free US shipping on orders over $58.
