This flexible armor plate was tested to the NIJ Level IIIA standards. Features ”high-velocity rounds” protection with a shooters cut, flat shape. Ballistic material is flexible polyethylene with a polyester exterior cover.
The threat rating stated on this listing is the rating as tested by the manufacturer, and no armor provides unlimited protection. Check the plate dimensions and cut profile against your carrier, and whether the plate is single or multi-curve – a multi-curve plate sits flat on the chest while a flat plate rocks on the sternum.
