Four numbers decide whether an optic suits you: magnification range, objective diameter, tube diameter and focal plane. Tube diameter must match your rings. First focal plane reticles scale with magnification and hold subtensions at any power; second focal plane reticles only subtend correctly at one setting. Mixing mil turrets with an MOA reticle is the most common zeroing error.
