The RSTA-II Tripod Shooting Head is an innovative field shooting accessory designed for turkey, varmint, predator & big game hunters, professional marksmen, and tactical rifle competition shooters that require a stable, easily repositionable tripod shooting platform for long guns. The RSTA-II Tripod Shooting Head with Rapid Control Handle (RCH) can be set up for either right or left hand operation, and provides 35 degrees of positive lock and hold positioning that securely supports a wide variety of long guns weighing up to 25lbs!
Using the RSTA-II Tripod Shooting Head users can interchangeably mount optical spotting scopes, hunting rifles, AR/MSRs, shotguns, and heavy tactical rifles, with this versatile tripod shooting system from Ashbury Precision Ordnance. Long guns are attached to the RSTA-II Tripod Shooting Head using a quick release Manfrotto 200PL base plate (provided) that is easily attached to clamping mounts, cradles, Anypoint Bipod/Tripod Mounts. A new ARCA Swiss Rail interface is under development.
When installed on a sturdy solid tripod base via the standard 3/8-16 thread head screw a highly reliable RSTA-II Tripod Shooting tripod system field shooting platform can be employed from the ground level to a full upright standing position with ease. The RSTA-II Tripod Shooting Head system allows users to fire from a variety of alternate shooting positions inside ground and elevated blinds, on flat, rock strewn, swampy, steep mountainous or complex urban terrain.
