This German Halberd replicates a circa-1500 A.D. museum piece. Crafted in 1/4in steel with 1/8in thick langets it is supplied sharp but may be modified fairly easily for re-enactment use. It is supplied as a head only – 1-1/4in dia. ash shafts (OX005) are available separately.
Blade steel and lock type decide how the knife behaves day to day: softer stainless sharpens fast and needs frequent touch-ups, while high-vanadium grades hold an edge far longer but want diamond stones. Check the blade length against your state and local carry rules before ordering.
