This deeply curved and hand polished 1060 steel blade terminate in a long iris leaf point for maximum cutting potential. Additionally, this Wakizashi comes with two protective bags. A blue cotton travel bag and an intricately decorative display bag made from fine heavy silk brocade.
Blade steel and lock type decide how the knife behaves day to day: softer stainless sharpens fast and needs frequent touch-ups, while high-vanadium grades hold an edge far longer but want diamond stones. Check the blade length against your state and local carry rules before ordering.
