Choosing the right gear
How do I know a holster or pouch will fit my pistol and belt setup?
Every holster and pouch listing states the handgun make and model, the carry position it is cut for, and the belt width in inches. Match all three before you order. Duty holsters built for a 2.25-inch belt will not sit correctly on a 1.5-inch EDC belt, and light-bearing holsters are moulded for one specific weapon light, so a different light of similar size usually will not fit. If your combination is not listed, email us the pistol model, the light model and your belt width and we will confirm before you buy.
What is the difference between MOLLE, PALS and a plain belt loop?
PALS is the grid of horizontal webbing rows stitched onto a vest or pack. MOLLE is the system of straps that threads through those rows to attach a pouch. A plain belt loop is a fixed sleeve that only works at one width. If you plan to reconfigure your loadout, buy PALS-backed pouches so you can move them between a plate carrier, a chest rig and a range bag without buying new hardware.
Are the knives you list automatic, assisted or manual?
The opening mechanism is stated in the first line of every knife description. Assisted knives use a spring to finish the opening once you start it with the thumb stud or flipper. Automatic knives open fully from a button or bolster release. Manual knives rely entirely on the thumb stud, flipper tab or a two-hand nail nick. Automatic knife laws differ by state and by city, so check your local rules before ordering; we do not ship automatic knives where they are restricted.
Which steel should I pick for a knife I will actually carry every day?
For everyday carry, a mid-range stainless such as 154CM, VG-10, S30V or D2 gives the best balance of edge retention and ease of sharpening. Softer steels such as 8Cr13MoV or AUS-8 sharpen quickly but need more frequent touch-ups. High-vanadium steels hold an edge far longer but need diamond stones and more patience. Coastal or humid environments favour higher chromium content; a coated blade helps in both cases.
Shipping and delivery
How long does delivery take?
Orders are picked and handed to the carrier within 1–2 business days. Delivery then typically takes 3-7 business days within the contiguous United States. A tracking link is emailed as soon as your parcel leaves the warehouse. Knives and other restricted items ship by ground service and cannot be expedited to some states.
When does shipping become free?
Shipping is free on orders over $58. Orders below that threshold are charged the actual carrier rate, which is shown at checkout before you pay. Free shipping applies to the contiguous United States only.
Do you ship knives and body armor outside the United States?
Our checkout is set up for United States addresses only. Exporting knives, armor plates or pepper spray from the United States requires an export licence and the destination country may prohibit the item outright, so we do not ship these categories internationally. For orders to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, contact us first for a shipping quote.
Orders, returns and warranty
Can I change or cancel an order once it is placed?
Contact us as soon as possible. We can usually change an address or cancel an order while it is still in the picking queue. Once the parcel has been handed to the carrier it can no longer be recalled and the return process applies instead.
What do I do if an item arrives damaged or is not what I ordered?
Email us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and its packaging. Damage in transit and wrong-item shipments are resolved at our cost, including return shipping. Keep the original carton until the claim is closed, because the carrier may ask for it.
What is your return policy on knives, armor and opened gear?
The standard return window is 30 days from delivery. Items must be unused and in their original packaging with all accessories. Knives that have been sharpened, carried or used to cut anything cannot be returned for safety and hygiene reasons. Body armor, armor plates and ballistic helmets are final sale once the factory seal is broken. Opened food, water purification and first aid items are also non-returnable.
Do you offer discounts for teams, ranges or bulk orders?
Yes. We quote volume pricing for law enforcement units, ranges, outfitters and resellers. Email the item numbers and quantities you need and we will send a quote; tiers depend on the product line and the total order value. Lead times on bulk orders are quoted case by case.
How do I get an invoice or a receipt for reimbursement?
An order confirmation is emailed automatically when you place an order, and the receipt is attached to your shipment confirmation. If you need a copy, or need the invoice addressed to a department or a tax ID, email us the order number and we will reissue it.
Is the gear covered by a manufacturer warranty?
Products carry the manufacturer warranty where the manufacturer offers one, and we pass that coverage through to you. We help you file the claim but do not add a separate store warranty on top. Normal wear items such as sharpening stones, batteries, boot soles and elastic webbing are excluded by most manufacturers once used.
Why do two listings for the same item show different prices?
Different versions of the same design are separate listings and never share a price. Common reasons are blade steel, blade finish, handle material, package quantity, or a left-hand versus right-hand configuration. Check the specification block on each page before comparing prices.
Full delivery and return conditions are on our Returns & Shipping page.
