Our Scimitar sword showcases the skillful artistry of Pattern welded Damascus steel. The hard heat-treated, folded carbon steel blade consists of 11 pieces of steel, folded five times, culminating in 352 layers. With a Rockwell hardness rating between 55 and 56 HRC, the steel represents a harmonious blend of hardness and durability.
The high carbon Damascus steel incorporates layers of high carbon steel, specifically the 1095 steel, known for its unrivaled carbon content. The layered steel results in a blade powerful enough to sustain a sharp edge, and sturdy and flexible enough to endure intense clashes.
