You can choose adjustable passive retention, a thumb release for active retention, or employ both for an ultra-secure holster. The holster can also be adjusted for cant angle. The ShapeShift MOLLE Holster uses a special adapter, which slides into two sections of MOLLE webbing on your battle belt, waist belt or any other piece of gear with MOLLE webbing. Once inserted, you simply slide on the locking tab. The holster is secured and you are ready to go.
